Krista is a Senior Attorney with the firm. Krista is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Group and Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Her practice focuses on financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital-raising transactions, corporate governance, and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. Krista also has experience executing internal corporate restructurings and assisting public companies with annual and periodic disclosure reporting under federal securities laws.

Prior to joining Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch LLC in December 2015, Krista was a mid-level associate in Reed Smith’s Corporate & Transactional Advisory Group. Additionally, Krista provided pro bono legal assistance to small businesses in Homewood through the Urban Innovation21 Collaboration, assisted families in adopting children through the Adoption Legal Services Project, and provided general corporate counseling to additional pro bono clients. Krista was a founder of the TLDEF Name Change Project in Pittsburgh, which is a city-wide project that assists transgender individuals with obtaining legal name changes in Allegheny County. She represents Name Change Project clients and served as chair of the Name Change Project since its inception in 2013.

Prior to graduating from law school, Krista was a summer associate at Reed Smith in summer 2011 and a judicial intern for the Honorable Donetta W. Ambrose with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania in summer 2010. Krista also worked as a certified legal intern in the Duquesne University School of Law Community Enterprise Clinic from August 2010 to May 2011.

Krista’s interests include traveling, boating, golfing, and reading.
